Evanston
Bounded to the east by Lake Michigan, and the City of Chicago to the south, Evanston is home to Northwestern University. Thanks to the dedicated "el" line which provides direct access to the city, Evanston has continued to grow in appeal as a choice place to live.

Downtown Evanston has experienced tremendous growth with many people choosing to live in a modern, cosmopolitan setting with all the amenties of a large city with the accessibility and beauty of a lakefront community. Skokie
The Village of Skokie is located just 16 miles from downtown Chicago, three miles west of Lake Michigan and nine miles northeast of O'Hare International Airport. Skokie's reputation as "The Village of Vision" is well-deserved. Carefully planned zoning has created quiet and attractive residential areas and bustling retail districts.

Skokie's village government is widely recognized for the high quality and breadth of its services - all at one of the lowest tax rates in the Chicagoland region. Skokie schools have won national awards for their excellence. The Skokie Park District is a leader in the field of parks and recreation and winner of the 1997 National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Parks and Recreation Management. Skokie Public Library is unquestionably one of the finest libraries in the metropolitan area.

Glenview
Glenview is a dynamic community rich in history and offers a wide range of opportunities for working and playing with sophisticated attractions and natural beauty. Centrally located between I-94 (Edens Expressway) and I-294 (Tri-State Tollway), residents have their choice of two Metra train stops, one of which is also serviced by Amtrak . Glenview has excellent amenities and services, excellent schools, 34 parks and playgrounds covering more than 290 acres. A number of major U.S. corporations have major facilities or offices in Glenview, including Avon, Anixter International, Illinois Tool Works, Kraft Foods and Pearson Scott Foresman.

From The Glen Town Center to Glenview's traditional downtown, shopping abounds as well as the only children's museum on the North Shore, The Kohl Children's Museum. The Glenview Park District features parklands and attractions such as The Grove and Wagner Farm that are visited by families from across the North Shore.

Wilmette
The Village of Wilmette is located 17 miles north of Chicago. The northernmost station of the Chicago Transit Authority's rapid transit system, the "el", is in Wilmette and Metra, Chicago's premier commuter rail system, makes a convenient stop in the center of the village's downtown shopping district. For recreation, the Green Bay Trail begins in Wilmette and continues north for 9 miles. Activities on the trail include: walking, running, biking, cross-country skiing, and in-line skating.

A progressive community with a strong commitment to its history, Wilmette abounds with glorious tree-lined cobblestone streets, an antique street lighting system (which was first installed in 1925!), gorgeous turn-of-the century Victorian-style homes, stately mansions, interesting boutiques and shops, wonderful restaurants, and its spectacular lakefront beaches and parks.

Northbrook
Northbrook is one of the most vibrant communities on Chicago's North Shore. Located just 25 miles north of Chicago's downtown, easy accessibility is one of Northbrook's most notable attributes including immediate access to the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) and the Edens Expressway (I-94). It is also served by Chicago's Metra commuter rail.

Downtown Northbrook boasts a charming downtown, which is the true center of the community. Not only will you find numerous restaurants but also boutiques and specialty stores. The Village is graced with top-rated schools, outstanding recreational facilities and civic-minded residents.
